Lady Lions Beat Undefeated Providence Christian
In the tournament's second round, the Lady Lions faced off against the undefeated Providence Christian Storm as part of the Thanksgiving Hoopfest. The Lady Lions defeated the Storm 28-25 in a total team effort. Aiden Penland was the leading scorer with 5 points. Mary Evan Simpson added 4 points and 4 rebounds while Kate Chittaro added 4 points and 2 rebounds of her own. Eli Poole chipped in 5 points, Ireland Haupt dropped 4, and Skylar Pleasant contributed 3 points and 3 rebounds. Teagan Hicks had a pair of steal to add to her 2 points, Jansyn Purdy hit a free throw, and Catherine Rowland Williams pulled down 4 rebounds and had a steal.
