The Learning Support Program (LSP) is a collaborative effort. A referral is made by a staff member or at the request of a parent to discuss educational goals. This open communication allows parents to be actively involved in their child's learning journey. Parents may contact division directors or learning support teachers for more information.
It is important to note that the program is designed to be “fluid,” as students may enter the program as they need assistance and exit the program as they become successful. The staff does not assign grades to students.
Learning support objectives include time management, study skills using classroom assignments, learning strategies, and assessment preparation. Services provided by the learning support teachers in each division will reflect the curricular requirements in that division.
