Student Driving and Parking on Campus
Current Lakeview students with a valid driver’s license can drive and park on campus in areas designated by the school leadership as student parking. For more details and the link to register to park on campus, click "Read More."
Student Parking on Campus

All students must park in the parking lot behind the upper school building and next to the playground. Parking in the student lot is first-come, first-served daily. There are NO reserved spaces in the student parking lot.
Students must register their car, license, and liability insurance policy information with the school using the form linked on this page. If any of these items change during the school year, it is the student’s responsibility to notify the Upper School Office promptly via email.
Additional parking space is available at the tennis courts if the lot is full.

Campus Traffic and Safety
- The Lakeview Academy neighborhood speed limit is 25 mph.
- The campus speed limit is 10 mph.
- Drivers are not permitted to use cell phones during drop-off or pickup.
- Drivers are expected to obey the directions of the Lakeview faculty & staff. Please respond to their requests with kindness and courtesy.
- Pedestrians have the right of way.
Driving/Parking Revocation:
The following may cause a temporary or permanent revocation of a student’s driving to campus:
- Reckless and/or unsafe driving.
- Parking in areas other than those designated by the school leadership for student parking.
- Being in the parking areas during the school day.
- Skipping class.
- Leaving campus without checking out.
- Non-seniors checking out for lunch.
- Excessive tardiness to school.
Senior Parking Spaces:
Seniors are welcome to paint a parking spot in the student lot. Designs must be school appropriate with no offensive messaging, language, or symbols and no double meanings. Painting a spot does not reserve that spot in the eyes of the school. Parking in the student lot is first-come, first-served each day.
A date will be determined by the student leadership and approved by the school leadership for the week before school starts for students to claim and paint their parking space. This date will be emailed to all rising seniors in advance. Claiming a spot is first-come, first-serve on or after that date. Students may not claim or paint a spot before that date.

Lakeview Academy is a private, coeducational day school for students in preschool through 12th grade, located in Gainesville, GA minutes off I-985/Hwy 365.
