On Friday, the B-team Lady Lions faced off against Lanier Christian at home, winning the game 35-10. Lakeview held the Lightning scoreless for the first half as they put up their own 28 points. Led by Kate Chittaro with 12 points and Brewer Brock with 7 points, Lakeview kept control of the game with a strong defense that forced turnovers and collected steals. Back from injury, Layla Young scored 4 points along with Rhodes Williams' own 4 points. Jansyn Purdy had an early basket and added a free throw while Hallie Hudgins and Wren Marcero each contributed a basket.
