Yesterday, the B-team middle school girls traveled to Alpharetta for a rematch against the Valor Christian Lions and returned home with a victory. Led in scoring by Caroline Croft with 8 points, the Lady Lions' defense held Valor scoreless in the second quarter, only allowing 15 points for the game. Kate Chittaro contributed 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals while fellow sixth graders Rhodes Williams and Hope Bunch each added 6 points. Jansyn Purdy, Hallie Hudgins, and Brewer Brock chipped in 4 points each while Julietta Tadeo and Ireland Haupt each contributed a basket. Isabelle Haupt, Maggie Stewart, and Wren Marcero added to the win with both rebounds and steals.

 

The Lady Lions will compete again in the Bethlehem Christian Thanksgiving Hoopfest this Friday and Saturday. Way to go Lady Lions!
