Please be in your testing room by 8:25 so we can begin promptly at 8:30.
All PSAT testing will take place on the lower level of the Upper School. Room assignments will be posted on all entrance doors and in the hallway.
You can wear what you are most comfortable in yet still aligns with Lakeview’s Dress Code. Remember to bring a sweatshirt in case the testing room gets cold.
You will need to bring:
Your laptop (fully charged)
Your laptop charger
A calculator
A few pencils or pens
Water and a snack for your break (optional)
Testing is expected to last until around 11 or 11:15 for standard test takers and around 12:00 for those with accommodations. Students will be dismissed once all testing is completed.
Students will take the PSAT online through the Bluebook app.
While the PSAT is a practice exam, it is important that all students give this test their best effort. Not only does it set your baseline for future standardized testing, but it also provides excellent feedback and can be used for course placement for dual enrollment. For students in the 11th grade, this PSAT is also the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT) that can come with significant scholarship opportunities for those who perform exceptionally well.
