All State Chorus is for students grades 7-12 and there are six different choirs that students are selected for, based on grade and voice part. Two separate auditions precede the event in which students sing a solo and scales, sight sing, and demonstrate knowledge of the music they are preparing to sing. Rehearsals begin on Thursday at lunchtime and continue Thursday evening, all day Friday and Saturday morning, ending with a concert for each choir at The Classic Center on Saturday. The concert is free and open to the public for family and friends. There will be 1500+ students from across the state involved in this event.
