The middle school robotics team recently competed in Atlanta against 24 other schools. The Blue Lions (Colin Brady 7, Bobby Cunningham 7, Carter Gottsman 6, Hudson Harper 7, Dane Martinez 6, Myer Speeth 6, Evan Wallace 8, Turner Wilheit 8, and Smith Wilson 6) were chosen as the "wild card" team to advance to the next round, super regionals, which will be held at Sedalia Creek Elementary School in Marietta on January 11th.

 

The Orange Lions (Edmond Dimo 6, Henry Harris 6, Ben Harrison 6, Gabe Harrison 6, Brie Johnson 7, and Lucy Walton 6) excelled in their Robot Design scores and were highly complimented on their teamwork. The Blue Lions placed 5th out of the 24 teams in the overall robot game and scored very high across the categories of innovation, robot design, and core values.
